Bologna 17-19 august

We left Abbadia S Salvatore on august the 17th. After a short visit in Florence to meet the brand new baby girl ( 4 days old at the time ) of  a friend of ours we headed to Bologna. We arrived in the late evening and started looking for a camping. Call it a hard task. No sign anywhere. No. Actually we could find signs. A couple of them and then nothing. After a couple of hours of crazy driving, around midnight when we were ready to give up and go back in the highway to sleep in some parking lot we found ourselves in front of a camping !!  And a nice one ! So we decided to spend a couple of days there. We got even to know this wonderful french family with two kids. We were all so excited because the father was from Jamaica, when he told us we all screamed '' Wow a real Jamaican !!! Let's shake hands '' ( yep we can be all waaay silly ).
We even went downtown Bologna for a short walk.

In Bologna. It was soo hot !

Seba, Milla and Gaia wanted to go swimming in the camping swimming pool.

Abbadia S. Salvatore 14-16 august

Once we left Rome we headed north and stopped for Ferragosto in  Abbadia S.Salvatore . The little town is a place we truly love. We usually go there to seek peace. To soak in the nature. To taste and enjoy the wonderful food. And more then this, the little town has a camper club, so all kind of facilities are available even if there's no camping at all over there.

Finally we're back in the woods !!

Barbeque !!!

Castelfusano. Where it all began. 5 august - 13 august

Daddy just arrived with our brand new very old motorhome

So this is our motorhome.
Life on the road is about to begin :)

Here we are, for the first time in a campsite. The camping it's not that bad. A bit too mundane for us, with discos and loud music on. And a bit too many ants in the showers. But beside this it was really ok.

Homeschooling. Done. Unschooling. Done. Camp-schooling. DONE. :))
( Oil and dirt make great colours )

Racing cars

I can't even describe the feeling I get every time I look at the kids while on the road.
It's just the six of. Raw us. Us, the way we are. Living on the road is such an incredible experience.
We lived on the road for nearly 3 months and 12000 km.

Milla loves hugging trees

Milla was a bit sad because we were leaving the camping and she had to say goodbye to the tree

Gaia, saying goodbye to the tree

Interesting !! ( See the camp-schooling part lol )
